Service Details

 Safety Needs Assessment

 ● Comprehensive security and safety protocol needs assessment.

● Physical walk-through of the school site and inspection for all potential safety hazards and soft spots.

● Review of Administrators’ safety plans for intruders, incidents, illnesses, accidents, and special events.

● Review of Administrators and Staff’s security and safety training for the past 3 years.

● Creation of a report that details the findings by Homeland Consulting Group staff.

 S.A.F.E. Course – Safety and Security Awareness For Educators

 ● An 8-module course designed to help Administrators, Teachers, School Safety, and Support Staff with a comprehensive outline of how to maximize the safety and security protocol in your building. The techniques outlined in this course are designed to mimic the specialized teachings of State and Federal Surveillance Teams.

Instruction will be provided by certified and accredited current or former Law Enforcement agents.

 ● Refresher workshops that focus on areas that need reinforcement or for State and Federal compliance.

 Diversity and Bias Training

 ● A one-day course or three-day workshop in compliance with State and Federal Diversity and Bias Training for Administrators, Teachers, School Safety, and Support Staff.

 ● Conflict Resolution Session (s) to bring about mediation either prior or after a bias incident in the building.

 ● Pre-emptive planning and strategy sessions to address potential incidents before they happen. Homeland consultants will use all available intelligence to craft comprehensive prevention strategies.

 Weekly Incident Reporting

 ● Twice weekly intelligence reports will be sent to Administrators, Teachers, and other key stakeholders on recent gang activity, local crimes, and other flashpoint incidents that may impact your building safety.

 ● Consultation on how to better communicate potential dangers to local law enforcement based on these reports.

 ● On-site debriefing to help plan strategies to address specific threats outlined in the reports.

 De-Escalation Training Workshop

 ● This one-day or multi-day workshop focuses on pre-emptive planning and de-escalation strategies pre and post-incident.

 ● Work with school guidance counselors, school safety, and Deans to identify potential hot-button issues or conflicts plaguing the building.

 ● Role-play training to address different types of potential incidents and how to de-escalate situations before they turn violent.

 Tourniquet and First Aid Workshop

 ● Basic First Aid training for Administrators, Teachers, School Safety, and Support Staff.

 ● Tourniquet training workshop.

 Active Shooter Training Workshop

 ● One-day or multi-day Active Shooter Workshop utilizing the 3 E’s model.

 ● Building walk-through to identify potential soft spots.

 ● Surveillance training to identify possible threats.

 ● Emergency situational planning and protocol design.

 Special Events Planning

 ● Event pre-planning and intelligence gathering session.

 ● Creation of event security protocol including emergency plans.

 ● Plainclothes surveillance support at events.

 ● Liaison with local law enforcement on the day(s) of the event.

 Surveillance/Counter Surveillance

 ● Plainclothes surveillance at special events, parent events, community events, and sporting events.

 ● Liaison services with local law enforcement and/or outsourced security team.

 Onsite Security Detail Support

 ● Onsite physical support for your building’s safety agents.

 ● Personalized training for safety staff on problem areas in the current security protocol.
